Pride-Filled June

Posted by Andover Staff on

The month of May flew by with Mother’s Day, the annual Crafts in the Park despite all the rain and the Memorial Day Parade, followed by a flurry of planning and preparing for our spirit-filled June schedule.  Right out the gate June 1st kicked off with the commencement ceremony for the Phillips Academy class of 2025 followed by the Andover High School graduation class of 2025.  June’s first weekend brought festivities for Phillips Academy Reunion Weekend and a special graduation ceremony for the class of 2020 who missed their original graduation date due to covid 5 years ago. The town was certainly buzzing.  Next up Father’s Day celebrations followed by the annual Andover Firefighters Show N’ Shine car show.  The event, boasts over 400 vehicles with a diverse collection of cars and trucks lined up on historic Main Street for your viewing pleasure.  June concluded with the 2nd annual Pride Stroll downtown celebrating and building community with activities, shopping, dining and fun prizes for all.   Summer is in full swing!
